Palm kernel, coconut and melon oils were extracted and refined. Their physical and chemical characteristics were examined. The refined oils were blended to produce three samples of margarine: palm kernel oil margarine (PKO), palm kernel and coconut oils margarine were tested for free fatty acid and Iodine value with the  following results 0.27,0.84, 1.68 Free Fatty Acid, 17.77, 20.30, 21.57 Iodine value for PKO, PCO and PCM margarine respectively. These products were assessed organoleptically using 9 " point hedoic scale o both samples and the standard were found to be significantly different at 5% level of probability.Â
There was however no significant difference in taste and colour at the same level of significance. Production of margarine using these three blends of oils should be encouraged to add to the varieties of margarine in the market.

This Project is for You If:
â You are writing your final year project for the first time and don't want to make costly mistakes
â This is your exact topic, or very close to what your supervisor gave you
â Your supervisor has rejected one or more chapters and you don't know what to fix
â You are stuck on Chapter 3 or data analysis and nothing is making sense
â Your deadline is close and you are still far behind
â You can't find enough materials anywhere for your topic
âThe process was actually fine and I got my project quickly. The only thing I didn't really like was that I would have preferred they sent it via WhatsApp instead of email, because email took a bit of checking on my side. But once I got it, everything was already complete and I just edited small parts before submitting.â
